New Kidney Health Initiatives from the White House
**New health initiatives** to fight kidney disease announced today! We’re excited to hear there will be streamlined rules for organ procurement and kidney available transplants as so many people die while they’re waiting to get on the transplant list let alone finding a possible match. Homecare and early preventive care will hopefully improve the quality of care for all kidney patients. Also, for the selfless organ donors they will receive reimbursement of additional expenses, lost wages and childcare when they make the most important decision to share their spare. The sold-out event kicked off with a Sunday night celebration at Baltaire Restaurant sponsored by Stacey & Larry Kohl and the Monday charity golf tournament was co-sponsored by Michael G. Wilson and King Taco. Bergman Public Relations produced the Doris Bergman Annual “Gratitude Lounge” featuring an assortment of luxury gifting items for our guests.
